Stephanie and Ross

Stephanie and Ross were fantastic to work with on a hot and muggy summer’s day. We started at the Fairmont with some breathtaking views of the city serving as a backdrop to all of the preparations. The hotel is such a beautiful space and fortunately we were able to do the first look right outside. We then gathered the bridal party and headed over to Olive Park. Halfway through the portraits the sky opened up and it started pouring. Stephanie and Ross rolled with the punches though and we ended up getting some really dramatic skyline shots. After portraits we headed to the ceremony and reception at Adler Planetarium. The outdoor ceremony took place with the city as a background and couldn’t have been more perfect. The reception space was beautifully decorated and accented in purple. One of my favorite parts of the evening was when Ross surprised everyone by singing a song. Once the dance floor opened up the party really got started. Finally, I was able to sneak the happy couple out for some final shots under the stars. The perfect end to a great day.
